"On the mountains the grass was dotted with buttercups, of houseleeks of the roofs, yellow alleys with a black heart ... Under the evergreen shady and dusty oaks, the maidenhair ferns abounded, and the green and golden ferns cascaded under the mossy banks of the streams."
Direct derivation of still life in painting, the Still Life (as an expression of the character of the subject property) it is an inexhaustible matter of study of form and color that has become more and more space in the context of photography. Perhaps the absolute freedom in creation and the rigor of composition, together with admiration for the great masters of painting, have led me to recognize in still life a photographic genre of my own. The act of manipulating the light to give the scene that otherwise absent three-dimensional depth makes the creation of a still life a fascinating work and at the same time a fulfilling "artistic" play. Through a shot you can return life and expression to inanimate objects, extracting them from everyday reality. The object is no longer a representation of the human figure, but a protagonist subject that can convey the attention of the observer to symbols and allegories that hide an emotional message of reminiscences and visions, fantasies and desires.
The interesting site myportraithub.com/ dedicated to portrait photography, published for the month of August a page with profile and the interview of 10 digital artists and photographers, among others by giving space kindly to my work, and of this I am very honored. Thank you so much myportraithub!
Few telling strokes, touches of color able to enchant the viewer's eye, abstract and figurative merge in the oldest and the original technique of making art, which refer directly to the wall paintings of prehistoric times, where the hand of track marks dictated by emotion to represent the known world and the unconscious desires.... and lots of imagination.
